Assembly Instructions

Cruiser/Dragon & Pool Bomb models:

  • Remove any protective packaging from the trucks & Deck. The front & rear trucks are identical. just ensure that the "Streetboardz" logo is facing outward.
  • Remove riser pads from clip seal bag & position between deck & truck base plate.
  • While not necessary, it is a great idea if you can apply a small amount of "petroleum jelly" or similar lubricant to the thread on the deck-bolt shank, this will make tightening the deck-bolts easier.
  • Drop the "Streetboardz" deck-bolts through the deck, the black riser pad, & finally into the trucks.
  •  To avoid potential cross-threading of the "Streetboardz" deck-bolts, ensure that the truck base plate is at a 90 degree angle to the deck-bolts before attempting to tighten the deck-bolts.
  • Hand tighten all "Streetboardz" deck-bolts before tightening them with your "Streetboardz" tool.
  • It is also a good idea to tighten the deck-bolts evenly.

Streetboard model:

  • After both trucks are attached & all deck-bolts tightened, flip the Streetboard over so you can see the bottom of the  trucks.
  • Before attaching the wheel, double check that you have all the hardware properly installed on your wheel assembly.
  • Remove axle bolts from trucks. Leaving the lock nut inserted in the hole in the truck hanger.
  • Remove one of the flat washers and the spring washer from the axle bolt.
  • Insert the axle bolt  through the wheel. Place the remaining flat washer then the spring washer onto the axle bolt (between Hub and truck hanger).
  • Insert axle bolt into round hole in truck hanger.
  • Hand tighten the axle bolt first, then use your "Streetboardz" tool to tighten further. Repeat this process for all 4 wheels.
  • After tightening each axle bolt the wheel should spin freely without any sidewards play in the wheel. If axle bolt is over tightened it won't spin freely.
  • Check your tyre pressure, all wheels have been set to 20psi.

Changing Springs:

  • The "Streetboardz" unique & Patented hatch system allows riders to easily change/ replace springs to suit individual riding preferences.
  • To remove or replace springs, unscrew 3 x black hatch screws from truck hanger. Remove springs and replace with new springs.
  • It is usually advisable to replace the urethane cushion in truck base plate & hanger each time Springs are replaced, although this may not be necessary in every case.
  • Replace hatch cover and using the x-tra long chrome hatch screw to engage the hatch in centre hatch hole.
  • Once the replacement, chrome hatch screw has engaged the thread in the centre hatch screw hole , continue tightening evenly the two black side hatch screws.
  • Once the two black side hatch screws have been engage, the centre x-tra long chrome hatch screw can be removed and replaced with the original and shorter black hatch screw.
